The One Young World 2016 Summit in Ottawa from September 28th to October 1st marks the first year this international gathering will be held in Canada, with health as a major focus.
Through their partnership with the AstraZeneca Young Health Program, the Young Canadians Roundtable on Health (YCRH) and The Sandbox Project have been given the opportunity to host a breakout session at the summit. The focus will be on the critical role youth can play in shaping health policy, particularly in the area of non-communicable disease prevention.
At the annual One Young World Summit, the most valuable young talent from global and national companies, NGOs, universities and other forward-thinking organizations are joined by world leaders, acting as the One Young World Counsellors. Delegates debate, formulate and share innovative solutions for the pressing issues the world faces.
