In an effort to raise awareness of the importance and power of collaboration in tackling child and youth health issues, The Sandbox Project is brought its signature event, “The World’s Largest Sandbox” to The International Children’s Games on August 16th! While The World’s Largest Sandbox is held annually in Ottawa each June to raise the awareness of child and youth health issues with public officials, this event focused on our not-for-profit partners and families from the Windsor-Essex community. Joining The Sandbox Project in the Sandbox was AllerGen NCE, Play Safe and Parachute – three of our great partners!

The Sandbox Project works to break down barriers and silos to bring people together and make Canada the healthiest place in the world for children and youth to grow up. In this spirit, we are having an awareness event for The Sandbox Project and child and youth health in Ottawa on June 12th, 2013. Just like last year, we will be inviting parliamentarians, Ottawa media outlets and personalities, our corporate supporters and partners, organizations who focus on child and youth health plus parents, community members and of course kids! The purpose is to have some fun and raise awareness of important child and youth health issues. We hope that you can join us!
