AllerGen NCE

Michelle Harkness Mentorship Award

The Michelle Harkness Mentorship Award was established in honour of Michelle Harkness, AllerGen’s Manager of Highly Qualified Personnel (HQP) Training and Events from 2011 to 2017. It celebrates the high value Michelle attributed to the practice of mentorship and seeks to perpetuate her encouragement of mentoring relationships.

Sears Studentship

The Sears Undergraduate Summer Studentship was created in September 2019 to honour Dr. Malcolm Sears, the Founding Director of the CHILD Cohort Study.


Canadian Basketball Academy

Since being established in 2010, the Canadian Basketball Academy’s (CBA’s) “No Child Left Behind” initiative has provided formative sport opportunities to at-risk children and youth. With the support of corporate and individual donors, CBA operates on an inclusive model that provides all interested children and youth with opportunities to enjoy the game of basketball regardless of their financial situation.

Connect, learn and grow.

Quality Sport Hub is creating positive sport experiences for as many people as possible, for as long as possible, and in the best environments possible. Quality Sport Hub offers tools, knowledge and expertise to activate quality sport experiences for people, teams and organizations at all levels.


The Young Canadians Roundtable on Health

The Young Canadians Roundtable on Health (YCRH) was created in 2013 to be Canada’s youth voice on issues relating to child and youth health. While it operates under The Sandbox Project’s legal and administrative umbrella, the YCRH is a youth-led initiative.
