The One Young World 2016 Summit in Ottawa from Sept. 28th to Oct. 1st marks the first year this international gathering will be held in Canada, with health as a major focus.
Through our partnership with the AstraZeneca Young Health Program, the Young Canadians Roundtable on Health (YCRH) and The Sandbox Project have been given the opportunity to host a breakout session at the summit. The focus will be on the critical role youth can play in shaping health policy, particularly in the area of non-communicable disease prevention. YCRHers will also be joining the Young Health Program delegation at the Summit.
At the annual One Young World Summit, the most valuable young talent from global and national companies, NGOs, universities and other forward-thinking organizations are joined by world leaders, acting as the One Young World Counsellors. Delegates debate, formulate and share innovative solutions for the pressing issues the world faces.
