The Children’s Environmental Rights Initiative (CERI) - a global coalition operating under the auspices of the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights and the Environment – is partnering with the David Suzuki Foundation (DSF), the International Institute for Child Rights and Development (IICRD) and others to host an intergenerational consultation on the right of children and youth to a healthy environment for the North American region in Spring 2021, as part of CERI’s series of regional consultations with children and youth across the world.
They are seeking youth nominations (age 13-25) for an Intergenerational Advisory Committee that will be responsible for helping to guide the agenda, content, promotion and follow-up for the consultation. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 30th.
Please note that due to resource limitations, IAC members must be able to communicate in English.
