The Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA) is conducting a World Café focused on what youth think about alcohol use and related harms. Youth between the ages of 19 and 25 are invited to participate in this research study and share their thoughts about their understanding of alcohol-related harms and why some youth might choose to use or not use alcohol.

The online World Café will last approximately two hours and feature four virtual round tables (virtual breakout rooms) with hosts anchoring small group discussions around a particular theme (e.g., alcohol labelling, low-risk drinking guidelines, cancer prevention) – the World Café will occur in February, and youth need to express interest by January 20th. Participants will move between breakout rooms, spending 15–20 minutes at each table, discussing each theme. Attendees can stop participating in the study at any time during the World Café or not answer questions, but can still attend the World Café.

Youth who participate in the study will receive up to $100 following completion of the World Café.
